Set a reminder on your calendar or in your phone to pay your mortgage.
It is due on the first of every month.
Create an online account to easily pay your monthly mortgage payment.
Your first payment is not due until next month, so setting up your account now will make the process of paying a little easier when the time comes.
Make a copy of your house key.
It never hurts to have a spare, whether you give it to a trusted friend or family member or just keep it in the drawer for emergencies.
Like KHC on social media.
We post announcements and important information for our homeowners, including the days we are closed and how to access your account if our website is ever down.
Post a picture of your new home and hashtag it #MyKHCHome.
Brag a little. We love to see our borrowers realizing their homeownership dreams.

Who is KHC?
First off, KHC is the proud servicer of your mortgage loan! Created by the 1972 General Assembly, KHC is a self-supporting, public corporation of the Commonwealth of Kentucky that invests in affordable housing solutions by offering programs and services designed to develop, preserve, and sustain affordable housing throughout the state.
You were working with one of the more that 110 KHC-approved lenders to provide you an affordable home loan through KHC. With the help of our lending partners, we provide affordable mortgage loans, down payment assistance, and tax credits to help families achieve the dream of homeownership.
What does this mean for you? It means that you’ve achieved the American Dream and we’re glad to have helped you get there. It also means that you’ll be making your payments to KHC and helping others achieve their dream of homeownership - your monthly mortgage payment goes to help other Kentuckians like you become homeowners.
